POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCK OPERATOR

Job Summary
Operate powered industrial trucks to unload materials and move stock to pallets, prepare loads for transport, and ensure DOT/ISO 9001 compliance. Read and interpret picking orders, use warehouse software, conduct inventory cycle counts, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and work 6:00 AM–2:00 PM in a team setting. Certifications and safety adherence are required for forklift operation; familiarity with DOT placarding and RF scanners is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards
- Operate variety of equipment including forklift, pallet jack and hand truck
- Read and understand picking orders
- Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory management systems
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and safe work practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
- OSHA compliance and safety awareness
- RF scanner usage (may be required)
