Job Summary
Powered Industrial Truck Operator sought for NAPA Auto Parts warehouse. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving, stacking, and staging product using power equipment; receiving/putaway; order picking; loading shipments; maintaining equipment and a clean, safe work area; conducting daily equipment inspections; reporting quality variances; maintaining inventory records and assisting in physical inventories; ensuring proper stock rotation; and adhering to OSHA standards and safety initiatives. Requires ability to stand and walk for the shift, basic math and literacy for item identification, and comfort with operating or being trained to operate warehouse equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent required; 6 months of prior work experience is a plus; forklift/Powered Industrial Equipment experience or certification may be required depending on role. Physical demands include lifting 25-50 pounds, repetitive motions, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with potential overtime. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience
- 6 months prior work experience is a plus
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment/forklifts with certification or training as required by role
- Proficiency in basic math and ability to read letters and numbers for location identification
- Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and perform physical tasks including lifting 25-50 pounds
- Ability to use basic computer skills and possibly a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
