Job Summary
PowerBuilder Developer needed to design and implement new requirements as outlined by Technical Business Analysts, establish business rules per system design, and develop database objects and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL. Role includes analyzing and building interfaces, queues, and appointment types for CA OD, Recert, and related processes, updating queues and scheduling logic, and creating new interfaces for intake and identity verification. Must work in an environment that uses PowerBuilder 12.5+, Oracle PL/SQL, JSON/SOAP web services, and middleware technologies within Agile Scrum and Waterfall lifecycles; strong documentation, team collaboration, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- MUST RESIDE IN EST TIME ZONE
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience in an Agile environment
- Strong Development and XML Parsing Experience with PowerBuilder 12.5 and above
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with technical and user documentation
- Experience with software conversions
- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Develop and maintain database queries, tables, stored procedures and packages, functions, and triggers
- Design database objects for Client server and web applications using Oracle PL/SQL
- Good understanding of Middleware technologies
- Experience with creating web services using JSON, SOAP, working experience of XML
- Understanding of emerging technologies
- Hands-on Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience working in a team environment on large applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
