Job Summary
Power Platform Engineer / Power Apps SME responsible for designing, building, and delivering secure, scalable applications in a federal environment. Utilize Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Fx to replace or modernize legacy tools and improve business processes across the organization. Design and build enterprise-grade Power Apps, develop and optimize workflows, create Dataverse data models and security configurations, and apply governance and lifecycle practices. Evaluate existing .NET and legacy applications for modernization, develop proof-of-concept solutions, and integrate Power Platform with APIs, Azure services, and enterprise systems. Produce technical documentation, mentor users and team members, and provide training to technical and non-technical audiences. Ensure stakeholder collaboration, translate business requirements into intuitive applications, and support secure cloud architecture and standards for development, deployment, security, and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of application development experience
- 3+ years of enterprise Power Platform development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps)
- Power Automate workflows and integrations
- Dataverse schema design and security model
- Power Fx
- Power Platform solution architecture
- Experience integrating APIs and enterprise data sources
- Understanding of governance, security, lifecycle management, and best practices within Power Platform
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance required or ability to obtain one
- Microsoft Certification: Power Platform Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certification: Power Platform Developer Associate
