Job Summary
Develop, manage, and administer the client's SharePoint environment, including site design, permission management, and migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online. Design and implement advanced SharePoint solutions, convert legacy JavaScript functionality to SharePoint Framework, and develop custom Power Apps and Power Automate flows to automate business processes. Support facilities and finance systems by integrating data, exporting information for strategic reports, and delivering expert advice on knowledge management best practices. Train end users on SharePoint and Power Apps tools, document all solutions for sustainability, and research new Microsoft 365 capabilities to enhance organizational effectiveness. This role requires an active Top Secret security clearance and onsite work in Washington DC.
Required Qualifications
- Top-Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online administration and development
- 0-3+ years of experience with Power Apps
- 0-3+ years of experience with Power Automate
- 1-3+ years of experience with JavaScript/jQuery development
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint administration, site design, and governance
- Proficiency in creating advanced Power Automate flows for business process automation
- Experience designing and implementing custom forms and tracking systems
- Ability to collect and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong JavaScript programming skills with the ability to update custom code solutions for SharePoint
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
- Ability to analyze data and generate charts and reports
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Experience documenting technical solutions and creating user training materials
- Understanding of information architecture and knowledge management principles
- Ability and willingness to work onsite at the client location in Washington DC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in government or government contractor environment
- Familiarity with database design principles
- Experience with SharePoint migration and governance planning
- Knowledge of Power Apps development, including canvas and/or model-driven apps
- Experience developing custom solutions using JSON or SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Knowledge of SharePoint REST API and client-side object model (CSOM)
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience integrating SharePoint with other enterprise systems
- Understanding of federal government IT policies and procedures
- Experience with records management and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and Section 508 compliance
