Job Summary
Take ownership of the high-voltage commutation cell, from conceptual design and functional specification to validation and series production readiness for New Energy Vehicles. Derive system requirements and ensure interfaces between hardware, software, system, and mechanics. Evaluate and select power modules and semiconductors; plan and analyze validation/qualification of the commutation cell. Collaborate across domains to integrate components, monitor new technologies in power modules and semiconductors, and maintain strong cross-functional communication. Requires deep knowledge of power electronics topologies, automotive power electronics, and power semiconductors; fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power electronics, physics, or related field
- at least 5 years of professional experience
- in-depth knowledge of power electronics topologies
- experience with automotive power electronics products or high-power switching power supplies
- deep know-how of power semiconductors
- very good overview of hardware, system and mechanics
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- fluent English
