Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, and electrical distribution equipment. Commission canopy and containerized generators, then troubleshoot failures at the shop or customer locations. Set up and operate equipment independently or with a team across daily field trips and local travel. Work a 23-on/10-off rotation with potential overtime and weekends. Requires 4-7 years of experience with Cummins diesel/natural gas generators, schematics reading, and valid driver's license. Based in Midland, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- 4-7 years of experience working on Cummins diesel power/natural gas generators, mechanics or electricians and/or commercial, performing inspections, maintenance, and repair
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
