Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance on generator packages, industrial engine packages, and electric power generation system components under supervision; assist senior technicians with load bank testing including cabling and cable termination; perform basic troubleshooting and repairs; prepare service reports and required documentation (work orders, parts lists, time cards); maintain customer requirements and safety standards while on job sites; may participate in training and support of strategic programs; travel and overtime as needed; strong customer service and communication skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of high school diploma or GED
- Associate Degree from an accredited vocational school preferred or comparable work experience
- 3 years experience with troubleshooting and maintenance methods for Power Systems products
- Must own required tools
- Must meet DOT requirements
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English)
