Job Summary
Conduct short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and generation facilities using SKM, ETAP, and Easypower software. Develop study reports, interpret new construction drawings, and create relay protective setpoints and equipment schematics. Apply mitigation designs to determine cost-effective solutions for low and medium-voltage switchgear and motor control centers. Execute small to medium-sized projects with limited oversight while self-managing job cost accountability and meeting project deadlines. Communicate technical recommendations to customers and collaborate across departments to ensure proper coordination.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school (Mechanical Engineering degrees accepted for some roles) with a focus on power systems
- Ability to travel 50-70% of the time
- Microsoft Office product application
- Must have the ability to work independently, and accurately, and have high attention to detail
- Valid Driver's license and good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Educational experience directly related to working with medium to high voltage electricity (preferred)
