Job Summary
As a Power System Studies Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will undertake simulation studies, create reports, and engage with clients to understand their needs. Your role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to R&D activities, and expanding knowledge in the energy landscape. You must hold an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, have at least 5 years of experience in power systems analysis, and be familiar with synchronous machine behavior in power grids.
Required Qualifications
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least 5 years of job experience in power systems analysis
- Familiarity with the study of synchronous machines and their behavior in power grids
- Fluency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in control systems including power system stabilizers, voltage regulators, and excitation systems
- Knowledge of PSCAD, PSS/E, PowerFactory, and MATLAB
