Job Summary
As a mid-level Electrical System Studies Engineer, you will perform electrical power system modeling and analysis for renewable facilities, including solar, wind, and battery storage projects. Responsibilities include creating quality studies and reports, maintaining client communication, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 1-4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in power system modeling software, particularly PowerFactory or ETAP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 1 – 4 years of relevant engineering or field experience
- Proficiency in power system modeling software
- Licensing as FE, PE is a plus but not required
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in power system modeling software such as PowerFactory or ETAP
- Effective written and oral communications skills
- Good interpersonal and people skills
- Experience with transient studies software like PSCAD
