Job Summary
Work with customers to apply new technologies and solutions to their power systems, designing models and demonstrations to teach them how to enhance their infrastructure. Support product troubleshooting to identify root causes, analyzing meter and relay responses to faults, power quality anomalies, and load interruptions. Contribute to and review technical documentation, including white papers, application guides, and industry journals. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience in power quality and metering, plus 25% travel. Competitive pay ranges from $97,700 to $160,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with power quality, metering and electric power systems
- Experience with revenue metering and harmonics
- Have the ability to travel 25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience with SEL metering products such as the SEL 734, 735 and/or T-35
- Experience with SEL Blueframe and/or AcSELerator TEAM software platforms
