Job Summary
Power System Expert responsible for operations and security in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, including analysis/definition of operational principles, steady-state and dynamic stability analyses, grid code compliance, and translating data into strategic actions. Roles include modelling/validation, load-flow and short-circuit calculations, and supporting international projects; requires a Master's degree, 2-10 years of experience, knowledge of PowerFactory/PSSE, and fluent English (additional German/Dutch/French is a strong asset); location Berlin with 30% worldwide mobility; permanent or freelance position.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics
- 2-10 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state-of-the-art technological solutions)
- Knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE)
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of German, Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
