Job Summary
Hybrid Power System Engineer role providing engineering support and analysis for the integration of large flexible loads into the System. Reviews interconnection studies for large loads and interfaces with Transmission Service Providers to ensure compliance with NERC requirements. Performs regular and ad-hoc analyses of large load consumption behaviors and their impact on the reliability of the interconnection. Develops appropriate tools, displays, policies and procedures to ensure reliable integration of large loads. Serves as a subject matter expert on large load-related topics to management and other teams. Position is open to an Engineer 1, 2, 3, or Sr depending on the experience of the candidate identified. Engineering duties include evaluating interconnection studies for accuracy and compliance with NERC requirements, potentially performing powerflow studies, communicating requirements to providers, participating in cross-functional teams, and developing tools and reports to enhance visibility of large-load activity. Education requirement is a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; experience levels vary by engineer level.,”
Required Qualifications

- Ability to communicate effectively
