Job Summary
Define architecture for 800V DC platforms covering power distribution, protection, power conversion, monitoring, and system integration. Develop scalable, modular, and future-proof system architectures across multiple product lines including power distribution, UPS, DC power, power shelf, MV/LV generator, BESS, and green energy solutions. Provide architectural guidance and technical direction to product development teams while evaluating complex engineering challenges to balance performance, redundancy, scalability, reliability, cost, safety, and fault operation. Mentor electrical engineers in architecture thinking and lead technical feasibility studies for emerging technologies. Collaborate with product offering management, regional engineering, strategic customers, and cross-functional teams to translate industry trends into scalable platform technologies and resolve complex system-level issues.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in leading architecture development for complex power system products
- Strong knowledge of electrical system architecture, including 800V DC power distribution, power electronics, BESS, control systems, protection, and fault management
- Strong knowledge of the power system key challenge (e.g., LVRT, Arc Flash, Grounding etc.)
- Strong knowledge of the IEC, UL, NEC, NFPA related standard
- Clear understanding of diverse power and thermal data center infrastructure systems
- Experience with system-level design and requirement decomposition
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineering teams, leadership team, and customers
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical discussions involving multiple product lines and engineering disciplines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in using AutoCAD software
- Must be team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
