Job Summary
Power Sports Sales Lead at Bass Pro Shops in Auburn, NY drives customer-facing activities and departmental leadership for the Marine Group sales team. Responsible for merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory control, sales enhancements, sales training and coaching of Outfitters, and delivering world-class customer service. Leads by example in meeting monthly sales goals, generates and follows up with CRM-lead prospects, coordinates special events, ensures UPC and inventory accuracy, and collaborates with Service and HR to maintain a positive showroom environment. Requires supervisory experience in a retail or sales setting and the ability to coach a team to achieve individual and department targets.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a Retail or Sales environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and point-of-sale/inventory systems
