Job Summary

Power Service Technician responsible for onsite startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical power equipment across the country; perform electrical testing, verify system settings, diagnose field issues including warranty repairs, and support rotating on-call emergency service while adhering to OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards in active construction and energized environments. Collaborate with engineering and production teams during factory weeks for testing, product validation, and continuous improvement; maintain clear and professional service documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years working with low-voltage electrical distribution equipment
  • Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, grounding, protective devices, and control wiring
  • Ability to troubleshoot energized and de-energized systems safely
  • Experience reading schematics, one-lines, and wiring diagrams
  • Comfortable working in data centers or other mission-critical environments
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75%
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding field environments
