Job Summary
Power Plant Technician position responsible for operating, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing plant instrumentation, control devices, and electrical equipment including gas turbines, compressors, generators, pumps, and emissions monitoring; reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams; preparing and recording work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory procedures; requires associate degree or equivalent and the ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, estimate man-hours, and coordinate parts purchases; role includes maintaining plant safety and environmental programs and may involve operating or switching equipment as required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
