Job Summary
Power Plant - Oper Eng I role operating and monitoring power plant utilities including turbo-generators, boilers (900#, 135#), water conditioning (RO, DI, polishers, UV, ozone), and related equipment. Requires applying CGMP/documentation, rotating shifts, training others for qualifications, and ensuring proper chemistry for heaters and boilers. Must hold NJ Blue Seal 3rd Class Engineer license (1-C) or higher and have prior powerplant operating experience; High School Diploma/GED required. The position conducts testing and adjustments to heater/boilers, maintains water treatment programs, and communicates shift information per SOPs under supervision of the Watch Engineer.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Blue Seal 3rd Class Engineer License (1-C) or Higher
- Previous powerplant operating experience
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability, fitness, and skill
- Shift work: rotating 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, 10PM-6AM
