Job Summary
Oversee engineering design, construction supervision, and maintenance of mechanical systems for large-scale greenfield power plant projects. Execute structural and piping works while reviewing technical specifications, ensuring compliance with ASME, ASTM, and API standards. Coordinate vendor activities, manage material logistics, and resolve on-site technical issues to maintain strict project timelines. Implement global EHS standards through safety inductions, toolbox talks, and hazard reporting. Develop preventive maintenance schedules, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain accurate engineering records and as-built documentation.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 8-12 years in construction management or manufacturing plant environments
- at least 2-3 years in greenfield/large-scale industrial projects
- Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, API, IBR, IS standards
- Familiarity with quality standards and NDT certification
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Skilled in presentation and data analysis
- Open to travel
