Power Operations Specialist

Power Operations Specialist responsible for preparing, submitting, and maintaining electricity delivery schedules; monitoring and validating operational and market data; producing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and analyses; tracking schedule execution and investigating discrepancies; supporting nomination, balancing, and settlement processes; coordinating with transmission system operators, power exchanges, balancing entities, and other market participants; maintaining and updating operational databases and systems; assisting in process optimization and automation initiatives; ensuring timely and accurate execution of operational activities in line with market rules and internal procedures. Works standard weekday hours with rotating weekend day shifts; in-person role based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good command of English; ability to work independently and within a team; prior experience in energy sector, power trading, or energy operations; familiarity with scheduling, balancing, and settlement processes and ETRM systems.
