Job Summary
Develop power models for architecture exploration and development, correlating them with RTL and silicon. Create innovative methods to predict power impacts of design changes across architecture, logic, and circuit levels. Maintain and refactor large object-oriented code bases using software engineering best practices. This role supports SiFive's mission to create RISC-V based CPU IPs faster and cheaper than ever before, enabling leading technology companies to innovate across AI, automotive, and data center markets.
Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Computer Science / Computer Architecture
- 3+ years of experience in power analysis and modeling
- Experience with power impacts at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels
- Good knowledge of computer architecture of high performance out-of-order CPU designs
- Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization
- Competency in software engineering best practices needed to maintain and refactor very large object oriented code bases
- Successful background and reference checks
- Satisfactory proof of your right to work in United States of America
- Authorized for access to export-controlled technology under applicable export control laws
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise with either HW development (RTL/implementation flows, verification/validation, backend flows, FPGA flows) or SW development
