Job Summary
Define power-aware architectural methodologies and drive power-conscious design decisions across the Switch architecture. Lead research, development, and implementation of micro-architecture power optimizations while participating in silicon validation to debug power-related issues and define the chip power profile. Collaborate with the design team to analyze design behavior using SystemVerilog without writing RTL. This role supports NVIDIA's AI infrastructure by optimizing next-generation switches for high-performance networking.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 3–8 years in digital design or a related hardware field
- Ability to read and navigate complex SystemVerilog to analyze design behavior

- Experience estimating, measuring, and debugging power across an entire chip
- Experience defining power-aware architectural methodologies
- Experience driving power-conscious design decisions across Switch architecture
- Experience leading research, development, and implementation of Switch micro-architecture power optimizations
