Job Summary
Power Mechanic Level B responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts; inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance from work orders and manuals; repair or replace defective parts, test for proper performance, ensure compliance with manufacturer specs and regulations; must be able to lift up to ~70 lbs, work varying shifts (including nights/weekends), and have strong mechanical, diagnostic, communication, and safety/documentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience and/or completion of trade school or equivalent
- Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment
- Must have own tools
- Diesel engine system diagnostics knowledge
- CDL and acceptable MVR if driving on public roads
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
