Job Summary
Senior Power Market Analyst responsible for owning the end-to-end European power market stack for our Forward Power desk, connecting short-term market dynamics across the day ahead to Y+3. Build and maintain canonical data models, translate trading questions into durable analytics, monitoring, and research inputs, and partner with engineering to ensure reliability and performance of the analytics stack. Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of European power markets and how short-term regimes influence the forward curve
- Strong Python and SQL skills and comfort building reproducible pipelines in a cloud environment
- Strong analytical judgement, data quality discipline, and ability to work with revised data releases
- Commercial mindset, able to explain drivers clearly and turn analysis into trade conviction
- Ownership mindset suited to a fast-paced trading environment
