Job Summary

Lead cost reduction and deliberate improvement projects in the Power Area, driving year-over-year gains in safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost. Engage teams in safety leadership and sustainable improvement practices while coordinating gap closure plans with Business Unit Managers. Develop future leaders by training, coaching, and mentoring REACH and Process Engineers in mill operations and manufacturing excellence processes. Ensure continuous improvement principles are utilized daily and support project teams on budget initiatives, including capital and non-capital cost reduction opportunities.

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering, Business, related degree or experience
Experience with continuous improvement concepts and tools
Candidate will be expected to become IP Green Belt certified if not already
Possess good written and oral communication skills
Possess strong computer knowledge and skills that include experience with spreadsheets, word processing, and Minitab (and/or other statistical analysis software)
