Job Summary
Power & HVAC Technician required to maintain and repair diesel engines, HVAC systems, and air quality equipment at Bemana's client site in Shrewsbury, MA. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and minor repairs, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on rental and customer equipment, completing service documentation, occasionally traveling to customer sites to support equipment service, demonstrating equipment operation to customers, assisting with equipment and parts pickup/delivery as needed, and providing high-quality customer service. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple systems, ability to read schematics, own relevant tools, good communication and teamwork, a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and willingness to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience maintaining or repairing diesel engines and/or HVAC equipment
- Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic systems
- Basic ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams
- Own tools relevant to the position
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly
- Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive environment
