Job Summary
Power/HVAC Technician needed to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered generators and related equipment across Ohio. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, cooling, and pneumatic systems; supporting HVAC/dehumidification/air quality equipment; traveling to customer sites within Ohio; demonstrating equipment operation to customers; assisting with equipment and parts pickup/delivery; and maintaining a safe, professional work environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience with diesel engines, generators, or HVAC equipment; strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting; ability to read schematics and manuals; own basic tools; and good communication and customer service skills. The role offers the potential to earn up to $34/hour depending on experience, a company-provided service vehicle, comprehensive benefits, and a referral program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience maintaining or repairing diesel engines, generators, heavy equipment, trucks, or HVAC equipment
- Diesel mechanics strongly encouraged to apply
- Intermediate troubleshooting and repair skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Own basic technician tools relevant to the position
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
