Job Summary
Road Technician (Pump and Power) performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs to return Sunbelt Rentals’ Pump & Power equipment to service, emphasizing minimizing downtime. Requires EPA 608 certification, DOT medical card, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of generators, HVAC systems, dehumidification, and diesel equipment. Must be able to read electric schematics and hydraulic drawings; physical duties include bending, squatting, lifting 25+ pounds; extensive on-the-job training provided; Sunbelt Rentals offers benefits and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment
- DOT Physical Examination (Medical card)
- EPA section 608 universal Certification required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Understanding of basic refrigeration (EPA Certified)
- electrical engines and controllers
- knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater and Shoring
