Job Summary
Power HVAC Mechanic / Electrical Service Technician in Calgary performing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and HVAC repairs; diagnose and repair generator systems with advanced paralleling, synchronization, and electrical distribution; travel to customer sites for service and maintenance; mentor junior technicians; maintain accurate electronic work orders; contribute to equipment logistics; role targets Level 3 or 4 technicians with strong generator expertise and opportunities for advancement into senior leadership within the service organization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Minimum of five years of experience repairing and maintaining power or HVAC equipment in a shop or field environment
- Journeyman Electrical certification and/or Heavy Duty Mechanic experience strongly preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of generators and paralleling systems (engines, breakers, synchronization, load sharing, electrical connections)
- Experience with chillers, air conditioning systems, boilers, pumps, desiccant dehumidifiers, and electrical distribution equipment
- Able to supply own tools
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
