Job Summary
Power HVAC HD Mechanic/Electrical Service Technician role based in Bolton, Ontario, focusing on maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex power and HVAC equipment including generator paralleling and electrical distribution. Responsibilities include performing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and HVAC repairs using schematics and diagnostic tools; independent field-service work; mentoring junior technicians; maintaining electronic work orders; and supporting equipment logistics. Strong generator expertise required; proficiency with chillers, air conditioning, boilers, pumps, and safety-sensitive, professional customer service. Opportunity for advancement into senior or leadership roles within the service organization. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and five years of hands-on experience; Heavy Duty Mechanic and/or Journeyman Electrical certification is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Minimum of five years of experience maintaining and repairing power or HVAC equipment in a shop or field environment
- Heavy Duty Mechanic and/or Journeyman Electrical certification strongly preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of generators and paralleling systems
- Experience with chillers, air conditioning systems, boilers, pumps, dehumidifiers, and electrical distribution equipment
