Job Summary
Power and HVAC Field Service Technician 2 responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, leading/training others in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager. Performs advanced repairs on pump and power equipment, HVAC, and generators; ensures customer needs are met with solutions. Requires EPA 608 certification, 5-7 years of relevant experience, valid driver’s license, DOT medical card, and the ability to work indoors/outdoors with physical duties. Includes on-the-job training and potential to mentor team members.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- DOT Physical Examination (Medical card)
- EPA section 608 universal Certification required
- Advanced understanding and repair of mechanical, electrical and diesel equipment, generators, HVAC and air compressors
- Mastery of load bank repairs
- Knowledge of VFDs, VSDs, soft starts, and “across the line” motor starting preferred
- Some factory diesel, generator, compressor, HVAC training
