Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair power generators while diagnosing issues, testing for safety standards, and performing preventative maintenance. Manage inventory and order parts as needed, communicating effectively with customers and team members to complete projects independently or collaboratively. Requires at least four years of experience in generator installation, maintenance, and repair, plus knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read technical manuals. Certification in Generator Technology is preferred. This direct hire role covers the La Vergne, TN area and includes travel as needed in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 4 years of experience in generator installation, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of electrical systems and generators
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in varying weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Generator Technology preferred
