Power Generation Technician/Mechanic

Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and repair diesel and natural gas power generation equipment, including generators, engines, and switchgear; perform preventative maintenance and on-site repairs at customer locations; troubleshoot technical issues, implement repairs, and ensure safe, efficient operation of power generation systems; requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of industrial power generation experience; candidates should own their general tools, be capable with diagnostic computers and repair orders, maintain DOT physical, and be willing to relocate with the noted relocation package; benefits include comprehensive health plans, PTO, retirement plan, and various employee perquisites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with industrial power generation sets
- Experience with diesel and natural gas engines, electrical switch gear, and automatic transfer switches
- Must have your own set of general tools
- Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
- Use computers for web-based training and repair order system
- Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions
- Clean driving record and the ability to pass a D.O.T. Physical
