Job Summary
Perform scope validation and jobsite walk-downs for steam turbine overhaul planning while establishing accurate work order cost and schedule estimates. Coordinate maintenance activities for steam turbines and support systems by supporting procurement of materials and services, administering procurement contracts, and developing job-specific work instructions. Streamline outage execution through standardized processes, problem solving, and team engagement with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Based at the Jim Robo Campus in Palm Beach Gardens with potential site work in Florida.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 4+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience:0+ years
- Effective Written Communications
- Effective Verbal Communications
- Must be based out of the Jim Robo Campus located in Palm Beach Gardens
- Working from one of the FPL Fossil Sites within Florida will be considered based on experience and capabilities of the candidate selected and requires hiring manager approval
Desired Qualifications
- 5yr Min of Steam Turbine experience (Maintenance/Project Management/Planning)
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- Project Management Professional Certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt
