Job Summary
Conduct scope validation and jobsite walk-downs for overhaul planning of the Combined Cycle Power Generation Fleet. Establish accurate work order cost and schedule estimates while supporting procurement of materials and services. Perform administration of procurement contracts and documentation to streamline outage execution activities. Coordinate with site personnel, Fleet Engineering, and suppliers to manage large workloads and meet Major Maintenance Process commitments. Based at the Jim Robo Campus in Palm Beach Gardens, this role requires 5+ years of combustion turbine experience and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 4+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience:0+ years
- Effective Written Communications
- Effective Verbal Communications
- Must be based out of the Jim Robo Campus located in Palm Beach Gardens
- Working from one of the FPL Fossil Sites within Florida will be considered based on experience and capabilities of the candidate selected and requires hiring manager approval
Desired Qualifications
- 5yr Min of Combustion Turbine experience (Maintenance/Project Management/Planning)
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- Project Management Professional Certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt
