Job Summary
The position requires an experienced Power Generation Field Technician to perform repairs to Marine Engines and Engine Power Generation equipment. Key responsibilities include maintaining safety, communicating effectively with customers, performing generator system services, and executing installation and start-up of Caterpillar engines and generators. The role involves on-call availability, travel to meet customer needs, and accurate documentation of service activities. The ideal candidate has an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or a related field, combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial setting.
