Job Summary
Provide outstanding customer service while meeting sales forecasts for power equipment, including tractors, lawn mowers, and UTVs. Assist customers throughout the retail financing process, manage special orders, and conduct pre-delivery inspections. Maintain accurate inventory in store systems and Salesforce, coordinate service repairs with mechanics, and perform demonstrations. Ensure displays and signage follow the Outdoor Merchandising Guide, cross-train associates, and maintain store cleanliness. Use general office equipment and scanning systems to enter information. Work full-time with no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Possess exceptional customer service skills and a desire to help others
- Expert knowledge and operational experience with power equipment
- Results oriented with retail sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build report, listen actively, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely
- Proven track record of successfully adapting to new environments, responsibilities, and activities
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong background with using electronic equipment, including tablets, computers, and online applications
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
- Strong communications (written, oral and interpersonal skills)
- Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices
- Ability to use a ladder, pallet jack, and/or forklift
- Close vision for computer-related activities
