Power Equipment Sales Specialist

Job Summary
Provide outstanding customer service while meeting and exceeding sales forecasts for power equipment, including tractors, zero-turn mowers, and UTVs. Conduct product demonstrations, assist customers through the retail financing process, and manage special orders and inventory. Perform pre-delivery inspections, coordinate equipment delivery, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce. Support service and repair operations by creating cases, parts requests, and warranty claims with mechanics. Ensure displays and signage meet merchandising standards while maintaining store and shop cleanliness. Cross-train associates and provide internal support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of power equipment
- Strong understanding of the retail financing process
- Knowledge of competitive product offerings
- Experience with relationship building and closing sales
- Expert knowledge and operational experience with power equipment
- Results oriented with retail sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build report, listen actively, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely
- Proven track record of successfully adapting to new environments, responsibilities, and activities
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong background with using electronic equipment, including tablets, computers, and online applications
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
- Strong communications (written, oral and interpersonal skills)
- Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices
- Ability to use a ladder, pallet jack, and/or forklift
- Close vision for computer-related activities
