Job Summary
Meet customers with power equipment needs, conduct demonstrations, and close sales across tractors, mowers, and utility trailers. Manage store inventory, coordinate special orders, and perform pre-delivery inspections before shipping products. Assist clients through the retail financing process and maintain accurate records in Salesforce and store systems. Coordinate service repairs with mechanics and handle warranty claims. Ensure displays meet merchandising standards, perform cross-training, and maintain shop cleanliness. Work full-time with a 100% 401(k) match and 15% discount.
Required Qualifications
- Possess exceptional customer service skills and a desire to help others
- Expert knowledge and operational experience with power equipment
- Results oriented with retail sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build report, listen actively, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely
- Proven track record of successfully adapting to new environments, responsibilities, and activities
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong background with using electronic equipment, including tablets, computers, and online applications
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
- Strong communications (written, oral and interpersonal skills)
- Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices
- Ability to use a ladder, pallet jack, and/or forklift
- Close vision for computer-related activities
