Job Summary
Operate industrial trucks, including stock pickers and reach trucks up to 40 feet, to pick, pull, put away, stack, and count merchandise in narrow aisles. Input data accurately using PCs, handhelds, or radio frequency equipment while navigating warehouse systems. Work collaboratively with team members, customers, and supervisors while adhering to safety rules and reporting equipment failures or accidents promptly. Maintain a positive environment by greeting coworkers, supporting new teammates, and fostering respect. Prioritize customer needs by handling merchandise with care and packing packages thoughtfully. Complete shift tasks by tidying workstations, returning equipment, and replenishing supplies. This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, prolonged standing or walking, and working various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and People Leaders
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable with heights while on power equipment raising self, equipment, and merchandise up to 40ft in the air
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 75lbs
- Prolonged periods (up to 12 hours) of standing/walking around the facility or department (excluding breaks)
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to use, hear and see safety/emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck (PIT) warning devices
- Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Power Equipment experience preferred but not required
