Job Summary
Conduct component and vehicle-level testing of high-voltage electronics including inverters, on-board chargers, and energy storage systems. Automate test stands, design PCB schematics, and instrument high-voltage setups for EMC and environmental validation. Perform dyno testing and troubleshooting with drive units while collaborating on design releases and vendor feedback. Generate technical reports for critical review meetings and support board-level bring-up at internal and external facilities. Engage with suppliers for component sourcing and procurement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering in the automotive, robotics, aerospace or other similar fields
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with troubleshooting EMI related issues
- Experience with PCBs
- Experience and familiarity with Altium Designer or similar schematics capture and PCB layout tool
- Embedded firmware development and programming experience
- Experience with circuit simulation software such as LTspice
- Experience with software and digital communication specifications and requirements
