Job Summary
Design and develop modern power electronics systems (AC/DC, DC/DC) ranging from watts to hundreds of kilowatts, selecting topologies such as buck, boost, and resonant circuits alongside components like IGBT, Si/SiC MOSFET, and GaN. Perform power loss analysis, thermal stress evaluation, and MTBF calculations while designing transformers with optimized cores and insulation. Resolve EMI/EMC issues and prepare designs for HALT testing, adhering to DFM/DFT, DFMEA, and failure tree methodologies. Collaborate with firmware, embedded, RF, and mechanical teams for system integration and generate technical documentation with project progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or engineering diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics design in an R&D environment
- Knowledge of converter topologies and ability to design both power and control circuits
- Practical experience with EMI/EMC, HALT, MTBF, DFM/DFT
- Proficiency in simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice, PSIM, Matlab, Plecs) and EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD, Allegro)
- Fluent English communication skills (minimum B2) and experience working internationally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in designing electronics for industrial, medical, or automotive applications
- Knowledge of RF and wireless protocols (BLE, WiFi, 4G/5G)
- Ability to lead projects, report progress, and support team development
