Job Summary
Experienced Power Electronics Designer to support development of high-performance AC/DC power conversion solutions for telecommunications applications. Translate requirements into power architecture concepts, perform power-supply analysis and simulations, support PCB layout constraints, select components, verify through testing and validation, and collaborate across hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. Role emphasizes concept-to-production development, 200–240 VAC input, and strong leadership in cross-disciplinary product teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience designing power electronics and power conversion systems for commercial, industrial, or telecommunications products
- Strong experience designing AC/DC and DC/DC converters, including switching power supplies and multi-phase power architectures
- Proficiency with schematic capture tools, circuit simulation tools, and PCB design processes
- Experience addressing thermal performance, EMI/EMC, noise mitigation, power integrity, and system grounding considerations
- Strong laboratory debugging and validation experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power analyzers, and other electronic test equipment
