Job Summary
Create, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, leveraging features like Copilot, parameters, and advanced charts to visualize complex patterns. Provide design consulting on analytics, data warehousing, and business performance monitoring while standardizing cross-departmental data definitions and KPIs. Develop custom SQL queries to effectively access complex data models and write DAX functions for data transformation. Deliver status reports to senior management and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance internal customer experience. Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, requiring strong presentation skills for client groups.
Required Qualifications
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Power BI development
- Highly proficient in SQL
- High proficient in developing solutions using Power Platform
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills consistent with a client group, including senior managers & executives
- Attentive to details
- Highly proficient in translating complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work with data warehouse team to identify data dependencies and data requirements
- Experience in writing DAX queries and functions
- 5 or more years of experience in BI Development
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Azure suite such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse is nice to have
