Job Summary
Power BI Developer (Part-Time) for Defense Health Agency in the Northern Virginia area. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations; translating business requirements into analytics solutions; building data models and calculated measures using DAX; data transformation with Power Query; integrating data from multiple sources; optimizing dashboard performance; supporting automated workflows with Microsoft Power Platform; validating data accuracy and maintaining documentation. Requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance (Secret preferred), and part-time availability (3-5 hours/day during business hours). Hybrid remote work with occasional onsite in Northern Virginia; Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or 12+ years related experience; experience with Power BI, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and multi-source data integration. Preferred: Secret clearance and DoD/Defense Health Agency experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Public Trust Clearance required (Secret preferred)
- Part-Time Availability 3-5 hours per day during standard business hours
- Bachelor’s degree with five (5+) years of relevant experience or twelve (12+) years of related experience
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Strong experience with data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
