Job Summary
Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, extracting, cleansing, and loading raw data from ERP, CRM, and other sources into the data warehouse. Lead the development of executive-level Power BI dashboards and KPI reports using advanced DAX and semantic modeling to translate operational metrics into decision-ready visualizations. Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and operations teams to define reporting requirements, optimize data model performance, and ensure governance compliance. Manage Power BI Service workspaces, refresh schedules, and security permissions while providing training to enhance user data literacy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
- Exceptional proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Expert-level proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M)
- Strong analytical skills and structured approach to handling large, multi-source datasets
- Knowledge of business processes and business analysis
- Experience with BI tools and Azure-related technologies, including Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Data Factory
- Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and growth opportunities within complex datasets
- Strong decision-making skills based on data and business context
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage complexity and deliver insights in uncertain situations
- Familiarity with lean processes and continuous improvement frameworks
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in data visualization and dashboarding
- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and database relationships (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, keys, cardinality)
- Extensive, demonstrable experience working with ERP systems and CRM systems as a primary data source
- Deep understanding of supply-chain data structure and business logic
- Working understanding of financial management concepts (budgeting, cost analysis, margin)
- Working understanding of sales and marketing metrics (pipeline, conversion, revenue)
- Experience translating detailed production, manufacturing, or operational data into executive-level KPI visualizations
- Excellent data visualization and UI/UX design skills
- Strong analytical thinking and the judgment to select the right metrics, visuals, and layout for executive audiences
- Experience developing enterprise-grade Power BI solutions within ERP and complex technology environments
- Commitment to governance, quality, and deployment best practices
- Working knowledge of QAD, SAP, and Salesforce
