Job Summary
Collect, cleanse, and analyse large datasets from diverse sources to identify trends and support forecasting models. Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that communicate findings to stakeholders across multiple teams. Maintain data quality through regular validation while working independently or within multidisciplinary groups to deliver analytical support for research initiatives. Requires proficiency in SQL, Power Query, and DAX, with experience connecting to Azure SQL and Data Lake. Salary range €70,000-€80,000; hybrid schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience using Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, time intelligence, data modelling, business metrics and user experience design
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including tabular, text and geospatial datasets
- Experience connecting Power BI to Azure SQL, Data Lake, APIs and SharePoint
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Experience working both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst, Power BI Developer or a similar role, including significant recent Power BI delivery experience
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
- Knowledge of Copilot in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Familiarity with Python or R and associated analytical libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application to data analysis
- Experience supporting public sector or multi-agency programmes
- Knowledge of housing-related datasets or government programme reporting
