Job Summary
Assist customers in selecting portable generators and home backup solutions, generate quotes, and guide them through the purchasing process in the Houston showroom and via remote channels. Maintain awareness of promotions and product launches, follow up on showroom leads and inquiries, provide product questions and warranty guidance, perform basic troubleshooting, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The role emphasizes helping customers, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional showroom experience for power backup solutions, with a focus on effective communication, problem-solving, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred and prior showroom or consultative sales experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, retail sales, showroom sales, account support, or related experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers both in person and over the phone
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using CRM or customer management systems
