Power Apps Platform Engineer - Vice President

Job Summary

Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective automation solutions. Maintain and troubleshoot existing workflows, integrate them with Microsoft 365 applications and third-party services, and administer Power Platform environments including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Enforce security measures and data loss prevention policies while monitoring usage metrics to optimize performance and resource allocation. Develop reusable components and templates to streamline development processes. Work four days per week on-site or at client sites with one remote day.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate and other Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong understanding of workflow automation principles and best practices
  • Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals)
  • In-depth knowledge of Power Platform administration and governance
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents
  • Familiarity with security models and role-based access control within Power Platform
  • Ability to manage and optimize Power Platform environments and resources
  • Strong understanding of data integration and migration within Power Platform
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • Visa sponsorship/support is based on business needs
  • The typical base pay range for this role is as follows: New York / New Jersey: $159k – $194k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location
  • This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation
